  • Which course might be more usefull.

I need to choose to take either Multivariate Data Analysis, or Nonparametric Statistics. Will either one of them be useful?

I took both in college and I'd say the multivariate analysis has been more helpful.

      Hi,

I'm also considering taking some graduate courses at the stas department at my institution.

Some courses i am considering are
      - the Applied Stats Series (Q1: Linear Models Q2: Categorical Data Analysis Q3: Survival Analysis and other stuff)
      - Biostatistics (Designs, survival analysis, etc)
      - Intermediate Stats Theory
      - Multivariate analysis

Would these courses be helpful when practicing actuarial work?

Can you guys rank the usefulness?

Thank you all for the help.

Survival analysis is covered in the 3rd exam so any class that includes survival analysis would be helpful, even if just for the exposure.
