I am looking for a career change from my current job as a software developer.
I came across the actuarial sciences course and found it interesting.

1. Am I eligible for doing Actuary course?
2. If yes which is the best institute in India/abroad for doing the same?
3. What is the course duration?
4. Can I pursue the course along with my current job?
5. What all career opportunities available in terms or job profile and compensation after completing the course?

everything ur asking has been posting on this site maybe 100 times... but the short and sweet version: yes u can switch; for indian specific info u may need to talk to someone there; compensation can be found on dw simpson website but i don't remember if they list other countries salaries; u can complete course work while working.
