  • Who else uses ADAPT?

I keep seeing posts on how exam p for may june was only moderately difficult. My friend took it today, did not pass unfortunately, I asked him how difficult he thought it was and he said the same thing and also that he felt like he was dead after 2 hours. On the same token, there was a marathon in my city recently and a few people said they did it, didnt realize how long it was and felt destroyed after a 40 minutes. I think ADAPT is a great tool because they create practice exams for you from soa questions and their own made up ones and time them for 3 hours, so you get use to your own pace and learn how deal with 3 hours while sitting down on a computer. Its cheap too only like 40 bucks for a month.
    Anyone else agree?

    I agree....I was a really good online-source...
I pass my exam today, and finished it in one hour and half. I felt pretty easy...I did like 20 sample exams in the adapt and earned 8.3, it make me feel confident to take the exam p, I am going to take the exam FM in August and I am going to purchase the FM ..

I used ADAPT as one of the tools to pass this May 2010 Exam P. I think one of the most crucial skills that ADAPT (and others) will hone is: being able to complete the questions under time pressure.

When I first started studying for Exam P I was taking my sweet time ... there was a day where I just spent one whole day mulling over one question. Eventually, I worked up to being able to do difficult practice exams in 3 hours ... that's 6 minutes per question. In total, I completed, analyzed, and corrected 15 exams under ADAPT. The interface was nearly identical to the CBT exam, so when it came to the actual test, it was all familiar.

In the end, I think it just comes down to working your butt off. As with any tool, you have to use it correctly to get the results you need.
