Need help with an example from ASM.

I just began studying for FM and I have a question with regards to a sample question from ASM 10th edition that I didn't understand and I am wondering if someone can help me out. Am I able to post the question and solution here? Or do I have to direct my question to someone at ASM since it is copyright material?

What does ASM stand for? Actex Study Manual..? Sorry I just moved on to this exam from Exam P.

ASM <> ACTEX.

I believe the author for ASM FM is Cherry and maybe Gorvett. I think Cherry said he's OK with some people posting questions about it. You can always e-mail him, I think ASM used to post an e-mail address somewhere in the front of their manuals.
