  • calculators question

    regarding the allowable TI calculators... are you permitted to have the small "quick reference card" that is included with the calculator's case during the exams?

    I don't believe so:

    Check fourth paragraph: Calculator instructions cannot be brought into the examination room. During the examination, the calculator must be removed from its carrying case so the supervisor can confirm it is an approved model. Candidates using a calculator other than the approved models will have their examination disqualified.

      My proctor had me put away the reference cards. I've never looked at them so I had never removed them before. If you've worked out problems over and over, looking at the reference card would be a waste of your valuable time.

        I didn't even know I had my card in there until after the exam. I had meant to remove it though.
