Thank you all very much in advance. I do have one question: is there anyway for you all to denote whether some of the questions cover material not tested on CAS 3? If not, I understand. Thanks.

      Exercise for December 3, 2005

      It is posted at:
      http://www.math.ilstu.edu/krzysio/KO...ise-12-3-5.pdf
This exercise includes expense-loaded premium, not covered on the CAS 3 exam, but even if you study for the CAS 3 exam, you will understand the contents of the exercise, once you read the solution.

I hope you will enjoy it. Next week, Dr. Kubicka will post on the property-casualty material.

And Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year, and happy holidays to everyone.

      Yours,
      Krzys'

P.S. I guess Dr. Kubicka labeled it December 12 problem, so please take it as that. I will post my next problem (life contingencies) on December 17, Saturday.

That too. Sorry. Just replace 3 by 17 and it works. The PDF file is there. I corrected it now. Thanks so much for your kind correction.
