Which book should I use for my study

I used the Actex study guide and the 149 SOA questions. I had not done any calculus for ten years and spent two months studying for the P exam using the Actex guide and passed on my first try earlier this week.

I'm going to have to second what the above user said. Actex > any other .... for me at least. The "certain prof" book isn't really helpful for me. I went back to actex. You should check em both out though to get a good idea of what fits your style.

I have no idea what should use for my independent study, i was working on the book a first course in probability . Looks too far from what i should doTags: None
