Standard Score

I have been working on the 150 or so sample questions given on beanactuary.org and I came across a problem that required the standard score, so my question is: do we need to know how to compute the area under the normal curve or am I going to be given a table on the day of the exam? Thanks for the help.

You'll get a table with z-scores from 0 to 3.99.
