using pencil in exam p

Hello. I am just wondering if a pencil is the only writing tool we can use for exam p. I prefer using a ballpoint pen over a pencil.....does anyone know?

If you are going to have CBT (Computer Base Test), prometric center will provide you some pencils. You cannot bring ball pens inside the test area.

If you are going to have pencil and paper, you will have to bring your own pencils. You may use ball pen, but I am not unsure if there is any problem to fill in scantron with ball pen.

Thanks for the answer. Do you know why we are not allowed to use pens for CBT? I find very annoying writing with a pencil. I am practicing with pencils sometimes, and it really adds to the frustration. I am really wondering if others have similar issues.
