That's true - it'll give you the peace of mind for the next 6 weeks or so regarding your test.

That'd be nice to have. Although, I do like living in my world where I did just fine on my exam.

I'll take that satisfaction for now. But in a few days, I'll start it up again and start studying for the Course 7 pre-test.

So obviously you would be pretty sad if you had a 3, 4, or 5.
Whether you are the lion or the gazelle, when the sun comes up, you better be running.

Sad, yes, but I'd get my registration fees back. And $725 is a substantial sum - at least, to me it is.

All I can do is wait until January.

I hear you fail if you didn't use a #2 pen.

You should take a $725 experiment to see whether they grade answers written in highliter.

                Sorry to interrupt

The difference b/t Exam M and Course 5, though, is that for Exam M, I distinctly remember telling my advisor a few days before the exam that if I happened to fail Exam M, I'd try Course 5 & Exam M at the same time, because I felt that I couldn't do any more studying for Exam M.

For Course 5, I feel I could use another month preparing. The amount of information to remember and comprehend is just mind-blowing. But you'll never have to take it. And I wouldn't wish it upon anyone.
You said you might take M and course 5 together. Do you say that because they are similar to each other in terms of content or am I way out of line? (I always thought M and C were closest to each other, contentwise.)

No, no - not even close. I'm referring to the SOA Course 5, which is no longer offered. I mentioned that I'd take it because after I was done studying for Exam M, I felt that there wasn't a whole lot more (besides actually going back and proving some of the theorems) that I could do. Turns out, I didn't need to take both.

But yes - I'd say M & C are related, as are FM and M. However, each of these relationships are independent of one another.
